Rural Australians for Refugees (Parkes)

About Rural Australians for Refugees (RAR) Elist
The Rural Australians for Refugees elist is not a Uniting Church list.  The list is sponsored by the Uniting Church but is for concerned citizens who desire a more compassionate response to asylum seekers entering Australia and refugees in any part of the world.  The list began as an outcome of the inaugural meeting for of the Parkes branch of Rural Australians for Refugees.  There was a consensus at the meeting that action needed to follow discussion and an elist was seen as a great utility in the process.  Anyone who wishes is welcome to join this list and either be an observer or contribute to the online discussion and attend activities that are advertised through the Parkes RAR Elist.
